Express Entry

It is the Government of Canada’s online system for managing skilled-worker immigration applications under the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.
No. Entering the pool is not an invitation or approval. Candidates are ranked and invitations are issued according to the rules and rounds in effect.
The Comprehensive Ranking System is the points system used to rank Express Entry candidates. It considers multiple factors such as age, education, language, work experience and other verified profile elements.
An ITA is an official invitation from IRCC that allows a candidate to submit an application for permanent residence under Express Entry within the applicable deadline.
